The Manitoba Science Academy is an independent, non-profit organization registered with the Province of Manitoba, and operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Its mission is to provide youth with an educational environment, focused on practical research that fosters an interest in post-secondary Science and Engineering disciplines. The program is not all work and no play. Activities during evenings and weekends include swimming, hiking, rowing, organized sports and trips to the Whiteshell Provincial Park, Grand Beach and Winnipeg.
